Update: Route 9H Taghkanic Creek Bridge Closure – From May 31 to Mid-November
The Taghkanic Creek Bridge on 9H in the Towns of Greenport and Claverack will be closed between May 31 (Note: New closure date) and mid-November to replace the existing bridge and improve resiliency in the event of flooding. During the closure, 9H traffic will be directed onto Route 9 and back to 9H via Yates and Stone Mill Road.
Daytime lane closures should be expected prior to the bridge closure to prepare the site. The project is expected to be substantially complete by mid-November.
