On August 28th Gallatin had a serious house fire in the early hours of Saturday morning.  The Gallatin Town Board and Town Hall Officers want to thank the tremendous response from our first responders including representatives from the fire districts/companies of  Ancram, Clermont, Elizaville, Livingston, Milan, Pine Plains, Red Hook and Rhinebeck. We would also like to thank the Columbia County Emergency Coordination Team  for handling the scene.
