To pay in person, payment methods are listed below:
Money Order or Certified Bank Check– Personal checks will NOT be accepted. Please make payment payable to Gallatin Town Court. In the memo please include date of birth and ticket number.
Cash– Must have exact amount.
Credit/Debit card– Please note: if paying by debit/credit card the card holder must be present and a service fee of 2.99% will be charged to process payment.

If you received a traffic ticket, please sign the appropriate plea section and mail the ticket back by the return date indicated near the bottom left side of your ticket. Please note: This is not a court date.
If you wish to plead GUILTY for your traffic ticket, please sign “SECTION A-PLEA OF GUILTY” on your original ticket and mail it back to the court. This must be returned by the date indicated on the ticket.
If you wish to plead NOT GUILTY for your traffic ticket, please sign “SECTION B-PLEA OF NOT GUILTY” on your original ticket and mail it to the court by the date indicated on your ticket. In lieu of personally appearing in court, you may choose to complete the plea by mail process with the Columbia County District Attorney’s Office. To start the process, please use the link below.
All in-person court matters will REQUIRE masks to be worn at all times.
