The Elizaville Food Pantry was amazed by the generous outpouring of support from their Elizaville and Livingston neighbors in the past few years. However, food insecurity in Columbia County and Livingston continues.
The Elizaville Food Pantry has been serving the needs of Livingston for many years. However, due to increased needs by neighbors impacted by the pandemic and other health issues, critical food items require constant replenishment as the need continues at these high levels. This is a perfect time to buy some extra items on your next trip to the grocery store and contribute items you do not need to feed your own family. Please watch out of date items as they will be discarded. See below for the two convenient drop off points where you will find plastic bins to leave your items and they will be brought to the pantry.
The Elizaville Food Pantry is open only one day per month, on the 2nd Wednesday (in April that is the 10th and the last day for drop offs will be Saturday evening April 6th to allow time for sorting and delivery to the Pantry). And, if you or anyone you know is in need, please call the number below and arrangements will be made to meet your needs. Don’t be shy. Now is the time we should all be helping our neighbors.
