Storm Message from Supervisor Reilly
Dear Gallatin Residents:
The Town continues to monitor everyone’s power status as we dig out of March Storm II- a sequel we did not need to see. I have spoken to residents as late as yesterday morning still affected by power outages at the end of roads where National Grid/Central Hudson were still trying to address power outages at one or two homes. Fortunately, this latest storm event did not have the triple threat combination of high winds, warm soft ground and wet snow. That said, Gallatin is buried and the Highway crew is doing their best to dig us out.
Please feel free to text my cell below or leave a message on the website or contact Town Hall if you have any continued issues or special needs we may be able to assist you with. The Town Board will meet tonight at 6:30pm as regularly scheduled and will discuss storm response, availability of nearby warming centers during longer outages and review current emergency notice procedures. We welcome your comments in person or here at the website.
John Reilly for the Gallatin Town Board.
