Highway Superintendent 
The Town of Gallatin is seeking applications for an Appointed Position of Highway Superintendent as described in Highway Law Sect. 140. Applicant should be proficient in the operation, repair and maintenance of highway equipment with a working knowledge of snowplowing techniques, road, culvert and small bridge repair. Position requires hands on work/driving, supervision, training and scheduling of employees and maintenance oversight of Town buildings. NYS retirement and healthcare plan in compensation package. Applicant need demonstrate proficiency with Excel/spreadsheet Budget preparation, tracking and presentation.  Class B CDL license required.
