Please Fill Out Columbia County Transportation Survey
Dear Neighbors,
We all know that transportation is one of the great challenges here in beautiful Columbia County and for years my office has been meeting with folks and exploring models to appropriately address this need in our largely rural county.
The Spark of Hudson and the Greater Hudson Promise Neighborhood have launched a transportation survey in an effort to gauge the successes and challenges of the current public transportation system in Columbia County and measure both need and the interest in testing out technology that enables on-demand public transportation through an app. The goal of this technology is to increase transit access geographically and improve the efficiency and quality of service.
In order to better understand — and ultimately address — the needs of residents across the county, I am reaching out to ask you to share this survey with your communities and encourage folks to fill it out in a timely fashion.
I have attached the link to the survey as well as a graphic to share on social media. We have an opportunity to improve and expand public transportation in Columbia County and this data is crucial to understanding needs throughout the county.
