Dear Gallatin Residents,

We already have a public hearing and a Office of the Aging presentation this month at the Town Board meeting but we have now added a short presentation from NY Transco on an update on the multi-year redo of the power lines heading through the Hudson Valley to NYC. This transmission line plan hits a small corner of Gallatin and we have kept our eye on it in the Town and County in the past 2-3 years. The presentation attached  now has real plans of what the rebuilt corridor will look like if approved in final form and I thought  it worthwhile to take advantage of what may be a well attended meeting to have Gallatin residents provide any feedback to the presenters. If needed, we will ask the group back if we have a lot of still interested folks who cannot make Thursday’s nights meeting. I thank you in advance for coming to this and all Town Board meetings.
