The leaf peeper concert series presents “Basking in the Baroque”.  The annual Newell Jenkins Memorial Concert will take place at the First United Methodist Church of Hillsdale on Saturday the 22nd at 7:30 p.m.

The artists will include Arianna Zukerman, soprano; Gustavo Ahualli, baritone; Justina Lee, piano and Astride Schween, cello.  There will also be ornate solos and duets from The Messiah, Solomon, Jephta, Rodelinda, Rinaldo, Dido and Aeneas, Bach’s Cello Suite No. 1 in G Major, and Vitali’s Caconne in G minor for cello and keyboard.

An encore performance on October 23 at 3:00 p.m. will take place at the Hudson Opera House, located at 327 Warren St. Hudson NY.   “Basking in the Baroque” will be repeated with a few program changes.   This is the last opportunity to attend a Leaf Peeper concert this year.
