Gallatin Fire District Treasurer – The Gallatin Fire District is currently seeking an individual to fill the position of District Treasurer. This position will require the individual to receive and have custody of funds of the fire district. The Treasurer shall attend all meetings of the Board of Fire Commissioners. The Treasurer shall have duties pursuant to Section 177 of NYS Town Law. The Treasurer shall have such additional powers and perform such additional duties as the Board of Fire Commissioners may determine.

Gallatin Fire District Secretary –  The Gallatin Fire District is currently seeking an individual to fill the position of District Secretary. This position will require the individual to have custody and maintenance of all records, books, and papers of the fire district. The Secretary shall attend all meetings of the Board of Fire Commissioners, and keep a complete and accurate record of the proceedings of each meeting and all the propositions, rules, and regulations adopted pursuant to Section 178 of NYS Town Law. The Secretary shall have such additional powers and perform such additional duties as the Board of Fire Commissioners may determine.
