Gallatin Residents Association – 2016 Meeting Calendar
Here are some initial dates for your 2016 calendar. The Gallatin Residents Association (GRA) is making up for a quiet 2015 with a full roster this year of informational meetings, community initiatives and social events to enable neighbors to meet neighbors.
After the warmest year in recorded global history, you will be able to learn about the possibilities of solar energy for Gallatin and Columbia County from Lotus Energy?s Michael O?Hara on January 31 at Gallatin Town Hall. At this, the Annual General Meeting of the GRA, Michael will outline the advantages of an interesting initiative out of Albany that gives advantageous incentives to communities that generate their own energy.
In the spring we will hear from the local families who have researched their own histories, re-energize the Town road clean-up project, celebrate summer with a town-wide picnic, meet the candidates in anticipation of the 2016 fall elections, and end the year with what is becoming an annual holiday party at the Court House.
