The county is slowly reopening and the Town Hall will join the world as of 7.1.2020 unless the County/State/Governor tells us otherwise. We will have a sign in sheet and fillable form to enter and we will keep capacity low.
The county is slowly reopening and the Town Hall will join the world as of 7.1.2020 unless the County/State/Governor tells us otherwise. We will have a sign in sheet and fillable form to enter and we will keep capacity low.
Please call/email ahead to the Town for appointments which will allow us adjust for busy days. Town Hall Employees will be wearing masks to meet you so you will need one to enter as well- that is a state edict. Restrooms are still closed to public as we do not have the budget for constant disinfecting crews to ensure safety at this time.
A very short policy will be posted before 7.1.2020. I will sum up the policy in advance by saying – the last thing you need is another Covid policy – so use common sense as we have very well the last three months here in Gallatin.

Look out for a website invitation to join a Gallatin Solar initiative. It is simply switching your National Grid or Central Hudson power source to one of their grid affiliated community solar farms in our region. You get about 10% off your ongoing bills, a discount up front of $100 just for signing up and if you put in “Gallatin” as your sign up source, the Town gets an additional $100 this summer towards installing solar motion sensor lights in parking lot for those dark winter meeting nights.
