New expansion of hunting regulations at Lake Taghkanic State Park. There are 2 major changes. We will now allow shotgun for BIG GAME HUNTING ONLY (Deer/Bear) (no muzzleloader due to overlap of campground season) in the northern section of our park above the campground and the front and rear entrances of the park (map attached). Columbia County Update 4/15/20
As of 3:00 pm on April 15, 2020:
- We are sad to report a 10th community member has passed away from COVID-19
- There are now 100 identified positive cases of COVID-19 in Columbia County
- 42 of the 100 cases have recovered
- 10 of the positive cases are hospitalized, 3 of those are in the ICU
- We have received 752 test results completed for Columbia County residents
- 84 residents are under mandatory quarantine and 16 under precautionary quarantine
- There are 6 residents with suspected, not tested cases
