Columbia County Broadband. On March 1^st, Governor Cuomo announced that Columbia County will benefit from nearly $3 million in additional broadband expansion investment as a result of the New NY Broadband Program. This will provide high-speed internet access to an estimated 534 new households and businesses in the County. As Columbia County’s designated broadband coordinator, CEDC recently published updated maps showing recent broadband investment and coverage areas. County and Town Broadband Maps have been posted on the CEDC website.
