Program Director – Hudson Area Library

The Hudson Area Library is seeking a creative, positive, forward-thinking, community-oriented individual to fill a new full-time Program Director position.

The Program Director will provide creative and administrative leadership for the development and maintenance of library programs. Applicants must have a four-year college degree or equivalent experience and demonstrated success in developing, funding, marketing, delivering, and evaluating programs.

The Hudson Area Library, founded in 1959, is an association library located in Hudson, NY. The Library serves a chartered service population of approximately 11,000 from the City of Hudson and Town of Greenport, as well as residents from the Town of Stockport and surrounding areas, and many visitors to the region. In March 2016, the library will be moving to a newly renovated facility with plans to greatly expand and enhance library programming.
