July Town Board Meeting Saturday July 23, 10AM – Gallatin Town Hall

Dear Gallatin Residents,
Each year the Town Board  tries to schedule at least one meeting on a weekend to see our “ weekenders” or remote residents in person. During the pandemic we instituted digital zoom meetings,  which helped alleviate this locational problem; but we still like to hold the weekend meeting to see people in person who might not otherwise be able to physically visit Town Hall for a meeting.
With that in mind, we will be having our annual weekend meeting next Saturday, July 23rd at 10 AM. In particular this meeting will address the rehabilitation and reconstruction of our  Town Hall. Over the last eight years we have discussed and thought through this project at many meeting. In the last two years, we have finished budgeting and financing the project and are now moving to design and planning. We ask anyone who has concerns or ideas about the Town Hall project to put them in writing by email to the town clerk ([email protected]) prior to the meeting so we can address all issues  at the meeting. If you’re interested in helping with the project please also send your written “volunteering with enthusiasm”  email to Lisa, our  Town Clerk.  If we get enough interest to form a committee to assist the Town Board in this project we will consider that at the meeting as well.  We look forward to seeing everyone next weekend.
The Town Board- John, Pat, Mike, Nichole and Dan.
