Since Sunday, there have been five new cases of COVID-19 and one recovery, increasing the number of active cases by four to seventeen. There is one more person hospitalized with the virus today than Sunday, and one in the ICU when there were none on Sunday. The Columbia County Department of Health has released its breakdown of COVID-19 cases by municipality and nursing home. Since last Friday, there have been twelve new cases. Four of them have been in Hudson. The other eight are one each in Elizaville, Germantown, Ghent, Kinderhook, New Lebanon, Valatie, Barnwell, and Ghent Assisted Living, where previously there had been no cases of COVID-19.
