Annual Recycling Permits Now on Sale at the Gallatin Town Hall
In November the Board of Supervisors passed a resolution imposing a recycling fee to offset the rising cost of handling the recyclable material brought to the County owned Solid Waste Stations.
Residents will need to purchase an annual recycling permit if you utilize the County Facilities.
This permit is for the entire 2019 calendar year regardless of when it is purchased. A permit purchased in March of 2019 will still expire on December 31, 2019.
You can purchase your permit at the Gallatin Town Hall. The cost of the permit (cash or check) is:
Residents of Columbia County $50.00 per household
Residents over the age of 65 $35.00
Out of County Residents $100.00
